libebackend1.2-dev software package provides Utility library for evolution data servers (development files), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libebackend1.2-dev
libebackend1.2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libebackend1.2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libebackend1.2-dev *
You will get with libebackend1.2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
